Course Description
This course provides a continuing study of the comprehensive, theoretical, and practical approach to learning the technologies and protocols needed to design and implement a converged switched network. Students learn about the different implementations of Spanning Tree Protocol in a converged network, inter-VLAN routing, and the skills necessary to implement a wireless LAN (WLAN) in a small-to-medium network. Topics include STP; Inter-VLAN Routing; Basic Wireless Concepts and Configuration.
2.25 quarter units; $525
Each course meets twice a week for four weeks ending with a Saturday session for the final.
