Self-paced online courses aid educators looking to meet professional development requirements and earn CEUs. Courses for teachers are designed to serve the need for professional upgrading, salary advancement and in-service education requirements.
What is a CEU ?
The CEU is a uniform measure of non-credit continuing education learning experience. One CEU is awarded for every 10 contact hours of participation. Employers and others who routinely examine and evaluate individual accomplishments generally accept this unit of measurement.” CEUs do not necessarily transfer into semester or quarter units. Each employer may evaluate National University’s Division of Extended Learning CEUs differently. We advise our students to contact their employer or school district to verify how our CEU courses will be examined.”
When you register for a course, online access will be e-mailed to you, and you will have one year to complete the coursework.
These self-paced online courses are offered in collaboration with Virtual Education Software, Inc. (VESi).
- National University alumni are eligible for a 10 percent discount
Please note: upon successful completion of the course, students are able to print a "Certificate of Mastery" through VESi
The first step to enrolling in a course through the Division of Extended Learning is to submit a registration/application. This is required for all new Extended Learning students, including current National University students who are enrolled in other programs.
