Course DescriptionAn analysis of behavior, perspectives and practices as applied to group dynamics. Focus on approaches and skills in group dynamics as they relate to performance and enhancement of cooperative/collaborative effectiveness. Uses practice through role-playing of effective techniques in dealing with a variety of cooperative/collaborative situations.
- Identify behavioral perspectives and practices as applied to group dynamics within the workplace.
- Develop a repertoire of approaches and strategies in group dynamics that can be implemented in the workplace.
- Develop skills in the implementation of approaches and strategies in group dynamics in dealing with a variety of cooperative/collaborative situations.
- Apply this repertoire effectively in a variety of cooperative/collaborative situations regardless of styles, ethnicity, gender, socio-economic level, cultural backgrounds, native language and/or sexual orientation.
