Dr Vicki L. Martineau-Gilliam

Vicki Martineau received her BA (magna cum laude) and MA (summa cum laude) in English from California State University, Fresno, and her doctorate from the University of LaVerne. Her master's thesis focused on the poetry of Emily Dickinson, John Milton, and Alexander Pope. Her doctoral dissertation was on writing-across-the-curriculum activities and support services for nontraditional adult students. She is an assistant professor and regional lead faculty at the Fresno Center. Moreover, she teaches English grammar, writing, literature, information literacy, and composition pedagogy in National University's Department of Arts and Humanities. Her research interests include online learning, literature, composition studies, and information literacy. She regularly presents at the International Writing-Across-the-Curriculum Conference and other conferences in the field of literature, composition, and online instruction.
