CHN100A Beginning Chinese I Lab

Course Description

An intensive online laboratory course in which the student interacts in a speaking and listening mod to a programmed sequence of language units and utilizes an online audio web log. These exercise are parallel to the corresponding materials covered in CHN 100.

Learning Outcomes

• Identify simple Chinese characters.
• Read Pinyin Romanization.
• Recognize constituent parts of a simple Chinese sentence.
• Demonstrate usage of basic vocabulary.
• Recognize elementary Chinese phrases.
• Deepen understanding of Chinese culture and society.
