Course Description

This laboratory course continues to develop student skills in idiomatic and conversational forms of speech, and proficiency. The course makes use of Arabic in film and radio where the student prepares written reports delivered orally based on the presented materials.

Learning Outcomes

  • Exhibit further developed skills in idiomatic and conversational forms of speech.
  • Demonstrate further developed proficiency in moderately complex written structures.
  • Demonstrate, an advanced level, their Translation skills of non-technical texts from Arabic to English and vice versa.
  • Consolidate, at an advanced level, syntactic patterns and vocabulary.
  • Write reports on film and radio materials presented.
