ARB100A Beginning Arabic I Lab

Course Description

This is an intensive online laboratory course in which the student interacts in a speaking and listening mode to a programmed sequence of language units. These are parallel to the corresponding materials covered in ARB 100, Beginning Arabic.

Learning Outcomes

  • Identify characters of the Arabic alphabet.
  • Identify modern Arabic numerals.
  • Recognize constituent parts of a simple Arabic sentence.
  • Demonstrate usage of basic vocabulary.
  • Recognize elementary Arabic phrases.
