National University Opens New Cutting Edge Campus in Woodland Hills

  • New campus allows National University to better serve its student population in the area

Woodland Hills, Calif. – National University, the second-largest private, nonprofit institution of higher education in California and the 12th-largest in the nation, has opened a new cutting edge campus in Woodland Hills located at 6300 Canoga Blvd, Woodland Hills, California, 91367, the university announced today.

The new campus allows National University to better serve its student population in the area, allowing greater support for both its onsite and online students.

“National University’s academic centers are unparalleled in their design in support of student learning,” said Dr. Jerry C. Lee, Chancellor of the National University System and President Emeritus of National University. “When an opportunity comes along to improve and upgrade the location and learning environment of a center, National University has not hesitated to do so. Our new campus in Woodland Hills is a direct example of our commitment to student success.”

The campus includes state-of-art classrooms, science and dry labs, computer labs, student lounges, conference rooms, and faculty and administrative offices. The total facility is 16,442 square feet, including the following areas that are dedicated to student service: eight classrooms, two computer classrooms, a dry lab, a science lab, and a computer lab.

Areas of study offered at National University’s Woodland Hills campus include: education; health and human services; and liberal arts and sciences. In addition to its on-campus programs, National University also offers more than 70 degree programs online.

Previously, National University had a campus in nearby Sherman Oaks. The new campus in Woodland Hills allows the University to continue to better serve its students in the region, both onsite and online.
