NUCRI is all about Collaboration, Connectivity, and Creativity. Its operations are task-oriented and project-based with the active participation of a national and international resource network of research and technology partners (e.g. San Diego Supercomputer Center, National Center for Supercomputing Applications and Illinois Computational Center for the Humanities Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Illinois, Urbana- Champaign, Virginia Bioinformatics Institute at Virginia Tech University, National Center for Advanced Computing (CeNAT in Costa Rica, etc.) and a consortium of community, education, and service organizations (National City Collaborative Family Resource Centers, EMS Independent Study Charter School System’s Options for Youth and Opportunities for Learning, HASTAC – Humanities, Arts, Science, Technology Collaboratory, Japan Society of San Diego Tijuana, North San Diego Economic Development Council, etc.)
