CUTTING EDGE SOFTWARE DONATED TO SOET

The School of Engineering and Technology is the recipient of two generous gifts totalling close to $400,000 in value, according to SOET Dean Howard Evans, Ph.D.

EDX Corporation has donated software for designing wireless communications, which will be utilized in the Master of Science in Wireless Communications program.  "It is a great tool for our students to learn with," said Dean Evans.  The EDX Corporation software is valued at $349,000.

EyeCues Education Systems Inc., meanwhile, has donated software to help with the assessment and tracking of research which is subject to  the Institutional Review Board (IRB). The IRB reviews all research involving human subjects. EyeCues' gift is valued at $40,000.
