School of Education Names New Associate Dean
The School of Education has promoted faculty member C. Kalani Beyer, Ph.D. to the position of associate dean.
Since joining National University in February 2006, Dr. Beyer has served as co-chair of the department of teacher education. As associate dean, he will support School of Education Dean Gloria Johnston in managing the school's operations and activities. He will also provide leadership on program accreditation at the state and national level and serve a vital role in assessment, curriculum oversight, program review, academic rigor, course scheduling and textbook selection.
Dr. Beyer, who is a National Board Certified Teacher, was previously department chair for the department of teacher education at Concordia University's School of Education, before coming to National University.
