Ruben Valverde (BBA, 2004/MBA, 2006) has been promoted to Facilities Operations Manager at DIRECTV in Los Angeles. There are 15 million customers that rely on his department to provide an uninterrupted supply of power and air conditioning to the company's main broadcast center. Ruben, a Marine Corps veteran, had the opportunity recently to meet with the Mayor of Los Angeles.

Suan Rachele (BBA, 1999/MBA, 2002) has started a company with a friend she met while enrolled in an MBA program at National University. The two alumni founded a cost reduction analysis company in Florida. Susan previously managed a staff of 18 and a sales force of 47 for a printing and packaging firm in Anaheim.

Kimberly Wendt (BBA, 2005/MBA, 2006) works for  Secured Funding, a mortgage company in Orange County. She started there in 2003 and worked as a processor for a year until she was selected by the VP of sales to move to a sales position as a Wholesale Account Executive. She held that position until earning her BBA, and shortly thereafter was promoted to a sales manager.

Ronald Vincent Murray (BBA, 1979) is President of New Mexico Middle Level Educators, Inc., the state middle school association affiliated with the National Middle School Association. Ronald, who is also a National Board Certified Teacher,  is helping to open a new charter school, Ralph J. Bunche Academy (RJBA) in Albuquerque. He serves as a member of the School Board and as an Instructional Leader.

Rohan Hall (BBA, 2002) owns two companies: vConcepts, a technology consulting firm with various Fortune 500 clients; and Eye Contact Media, Inc., a global book publishing company. He has also founded a third company, Group Members Only (GMO), which allows groups and organizations the ability to network, communicate, collaborate, process online payments, and provide job postings, email, blogs, and manage newsletters and other content online. He was recently featured in Black Enterprise Magazine.
