Online Degree program is designed for those with management experience
National University is introducing a new Executive MBA program, designed for persons who have achieved mid- to senior-level management positions and wish to enhance and formalize their academic credentials.
Offered in a 12-course, 13-month format, the EMBA program places emphasis on the leadership and team-building skills required to manage change within one's organization and achieve strategic goals. The courses come in two modules: (1) analytical tools; and (2) integrating experience.
The EMBA program utilizes National University's web class technology, which combines the convenience of taking courses online with the live instruction and interaction of a traditional onsite classroom. Coursework is completed online asynchronously, and in live online class sessions that meet each Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Pacific time.
A digital video recording is made of all class sessions, so that students who miss any portiaon of a class session can downlowd and view the recording at any time.
Applicants for the EMBA program must have a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited university in any business or non-business discipline, and a minimum of five years' work experience that should include three years of supervisory experience leading to a mid- or senior-level management position.
