Alumni Can Now Request Transcripts Online
"How can I obtain a copy of my transcripts?"
That is one of the most frequently-asked questions in alumni relations. Well the answer just became very simple. Effective November 7, all outgoing transcript requests at National University are now handled by the National Student Clearing House (NSCH).
"This change has been made in an effort to improve our customer service to alumni and students," said National University Registrar James Garrison. "From now on, alumni and students will be able to order their transcripts, make payments, and view the status and progress of their request online," he added.
The National University website has already been updated with the pertinent information. If alumni prefer, they can access the NSCH website through a link available through the National University website home page (click here).
Those seeking transcripts can also go directly to to the NSCH website: www.getmytranscript.com
According to the Registrar, old transcript request forms will no longer be accepted unless alumni or students comes to National University's academic and administrative headquarters to place a request in person. Requests for transcripts that are faxed and mailed after November 7 will be returned, and alumni will be directed to the online request form.
The National Student Clearinghouse is a non-profit organization founded by the higher education community. It streamlines the student record verification process for more than 2,800 colleges and universities, including alumni and 91 percent of U.S. students. If alumni have any questions about NSCH or the new transcript request process, they are instructed to contact Wael Younis in the records department at wyounis@nu.edu.
