National University Tops Diversity Rankings in Several Categories

We lead the nation in granting master's degrees in education to all minorities

National University provides more master's degrees in all disciplines combined to Hispanics than any other college or university in California, according to annual rankings published by Diverse Issues in Higher Education.
In total, National University conferred 536 master's degrees to Hispanics in the 2003-2004 academic year. The 536 master's degrees earned by Hispanics from National University in 2003-2004 is an increase of 48 percent from the previous academic year, up from 363.
By specific disciplines, National University also ranks first in California in granting master's degrees in education to Hispanics, conferring 436 such degrees during the above-mentioned period.
In addition, National University led California in granting master's degrees in education to minority students, including African Americans, Asian Americans, American Indians and Hispanics, conferring a total of 801 such degrees in 2003-2004.
Diverse Issues in Higher Education published its annual rankings of the top 100 colleges and universities providing graduate degrees to minority students in July.
