SOBM Professor Promoted to VP for Student Services

Kenneth Goldberg, D.P.A., an Associate Professor in the department of professional studies, has been appointed as Vice President for Student Services for National University. In his new role, he will oversee the the Office of the Registrar, Student and Judicial Affairs, the Career Center, the Office of Scholarships and Special Services.

Dr. Goldberg served as an SOBM faculty member for five and a half years. During his tenure at SOBM, Dr. Goldberg was one of the school's most active and engaged professors. He was director of the Center for Entrepreneurship, and was also a recipient of the 2006 President's Professoriate Award and  the 2006 President Jerry C. Lee Faculty Senate Award for Service.

Dr. Goldberg recently published an article in The International Journal of Knowledge, Culture & Change Management. The article, titled Measuring Performance: Empowering Stakeholders to Improve Performance, was about a case study reviewing an assessment of an MPA program from the graduate student perspective. It was published  in Volume 6, Number 5 of the peer refereed journal, examining the process used to develop quantitative and qualitative performance measures, results and outcomes.
