An ABI Prism 3100 Genetic Analyzer
New Equipment Enhances MFS Program
More than $100,000 in new equipment has been purchased for the Master of Forensic Sciences program at National University.
Both the ABI Prism 3100 Genetic Analyzer (used for analyzing DNA) and the Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry machine (used for analyzing drugs and poison) will "positively impact the quality of our program, " according to Ismail Sebetan, M.D., Ph.D., a Professor who teaches forensic sciences at National University.
"This is a major step in the process of achieving accreditation from the American Academy of Forensic Sciences," Dr. Sebetan added. For more information regarding the forensic program or its new equipment, please contact the School of Business and Management at sobm@nu.edu.
