What is a School Psychologist?
More than 50 graduate programs promote greater awareness of key profession
November 7-11 was National School Psychology Awareness Week, and National University was among more than 50 graduate programs around the country to participate in promoting the profession.
An official statement from the National Association of School Psychologists proclaimed that "we appreciate the efforts and participation of these graduate programs and we are confident that other graduate students will follow their lead."
In San Diego, students and alumni offered a multimedia presentation exploring the question, "What is a school psychologist?" The past president of California's School Psychology Association was in attendance, and there was also discussion of forming a school psychology student association.
