Alumni Respond to Survey

Data will help to improve alumni services

In an effort to re-connect with National University graduates, The alumni relations department e-mailed its 2006 Alumni survey on January 4.  Close to 3,500 alumni responded.  Thank you for your input.

The purpose of the survey was for the University to better understand its alumni , to establish a stronger relationship with them and better serve their needs.  We asked what attracted you to National, what your experiences here were like, which services you appreciate most, and what are the best ways to maintain a mutually beneficial long-term relationship.

The deadline for completing the alumni survey was Friday, January 13.  Responses were completely confidential and will only be represented in aggregate form. Data from the survey is currently being analyzed and the results will be shared with alumni here in the Newswire and elsewhere.

Participation in the alumni survey was voluntary. Those who completed the survey were entered into a random drawing for an American Express Gift Card. The first prize winner will receive a $100 gift card. The second place winner will receive a $75 gift card, and the third place winner will receive a $50 gift card.  Winners will be notified via e-mail.

If you have any questions or concerns about the survey or your rights as a research participant, please contact Hoyt Smith in the Office of Alumni Relations at (858) 642-8111 or hsmith@nu.edu.
