The School of Engineering and Technology (SOET) is sponsoring a half-day "open house" event in San Diego's Mission Valley on February 25th.
The event, titled "Success in Technology," will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the School's new IT Lab at 4121 Camino Del Rio South. Alumni are invited to attend the open house -style format, which will include short presentations by outside presenters. There will also be networking opportunities with representatives from SONY, NCR, CISCO Systems, the Association of IT Professionals and SOET faculty.
The featured guest and presenter will be Sam Stokes from Microsoft. He will provide a preview of the upcoming Vista Operating System, plus the new SQL Server 2005 product and the upcoming Visual Studio Team System.
