Distinguished Alumni to be Honored at April 25 Banquet
Alumni are invited to attend the San Diego event, which will serve as a model for future regional alumni events
The department of advancement and alumni relations will honor six distinguished San Diego alumni at a dinner event on April 25, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines.
The honorees include:
Rob Dean (MA, 1988) CEO, Vista Hill Foundation
Marti Emerald (BS, 2005) Investigative Reporter, KGTV News
Adolfo Gonzales (BPA, 1986) National City Chief of Police
Sammantha McDonald (MBA, 1983) Community Volunteer
Jeff Olivero (MS, 1995) Principal, Mira Mesa High School
Jerry Sanders (BPA, 1988) Mayor, City of San Diego
Each alumnus is being recognized for their professional achievement and good standing within the community; and their role in fostering greater civic participation while generating a greater sense of pride and belonging among fellow alumni.
The event is open to all alumni, however seating is limited so those interested in attending are urged to make reservations early. The cost is $75 per person, or $750 for a table of 10. For more information, or to RSVP, contact Lacey Render at (858) 642-8095.
