Professor Gets Lifetime Achievement Award

American Political Science Association honors COLS Faculty member Dr. Carl Boggs

The American Political Science Association (APSA) honored Carl Boggs, Ph.D., a professor in the College of Letters and Sciences' department of social sciences, with a Lifetime Achievement Award at its annual meeting this past September in Philadelphia.

APSA also invited Dr. Boggs to join a delegation to China in the spring of 2007.

Dr. Boggs is the author of several books, including Social Movements and Political Power: Emerging Forms of Radicalism in the West ( Temple University Press, 1989) and The End of Politics: Corporate Power and the Decline of the Public Sphere (Guilford Press, 1999).
