National University’s Center for Cultural and Ethnic Studies will be hosting The Call of Conscience: A Voice from “The List,” an evening with Leon Leyson, the youngest survivor from Schindler’s List during the World War II Jewish Holocaust.
Leyson will tell the heart-wrenching story of hatred and loss he experienced during the Holocaust, and the compassion of Oskar Schindler, an unlikely savior of the Jewish people. Schindler, a German industrialist, risked his own life to save more than 1,200 Jewish men, women and children.
