SOE Student Wins Scholarship Essay

A winning essay by National University student Oral Urquidi has earned her a $500 BrainTrack Teaching Schools Scholarship, according to a news release distributed on January 14.

Ms. Urquidi is a mother of three who is attending school online as a full-time student. She plans to obtain her Single Subject Teaching Credential, Math in 2010. In her essay, she said the online degree program offers the convenience and format she needs, and she enjoys learning from her professors.

BrainTrack is an Internet-based directory of the world's universities and colleges. It indexes and contains information about universities, polytechnics, colleges and other higher educational institutions from over 190 countries.
