Coaches Invited to Free High School Athletics Lab in Carlsbad
National University is continuing its series of free sport psychology laboratory experiences at its Carlsbad campus on May 22, from 9 a.m. to noon; and at its Spectrum campus on May 29, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The May 2010 labs weill address one of coaches' and athletes' most pressing concerns: how to sustain motivation during the off-season. With summer quickly approaching, training distractions are everywhere.
The labs will offer ideas and take-away techniques for coaches and athletes to use over the summer months so they return in great physical and psychological shape for the next athletic season. Participants will engage in both lecture and practical exercises, and enjoy the opportunity to devleop personal training plans for excellence over the summer.
To sign up for the program as a team or individually, contact the National University Golf Academy at (877) NUGOLF.1, or e-mail Dr. Sarah Castillo, Lead Faculty and program director for National University's Bachelor of Arts in Sport Psychology program, at scastillo@nu.edu.
