SHRM Reconfirms MA in Human Resource Management Program
The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has reconfirmed that National University's Master of Arts in Human Resource Management program is fully aligned with its curriculum guidelines. The renewal period is good through December 2014. The Master of Arts program was initially validated by SHRM in June 2009.
"This re-validation is an honor, bestowing added value to our students and deserved recognition to the School of Business and Management," said Dr. Bernadette Baum, Lead Faculty for the MAHRM program.
The MAHRM program provides students with both the critical skills and knowledge required to be effective in this continuously growing domain through case study, experiential learning opportunities, and best practices. This program serves to increase skills and abilities for a professional to either serve as a senior management team member or as a consultant to organization leadership on human resource management and organizational change issues.
SHRM is the world's largest association devoted to human resource management. Representing more than 250,000 members in over 140 countries, the Society serves the needs of human resource professionals and advances the interests of the human resources profession.
