Health Coaching Certificate Program Offered for Continuing Education Units

The Division of Extended Learning, in partnership with the Center for Integrative Health, is offering a Health Coaching Certificate Program for Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

This certificate program was created for a wide-range of health care professionals. It was developed and is taught online by experts in the field, and includes the following courses:

 

· IHX 1810X Self as Coach
· IHX 1835X Social and Emotional Intelligence in Health Coaching
· IHX 1800X Introduction to Complementary Health Practices
· IHX 1815X Fundamentals of Health Coaching
· IHX 1820X The Coaching Relationship
· IHX 1830X Advanced Health Coaching Seminar

The courses are offered for four CEUs each. Following completion of all six courses, a Certificate of Health Coaching will be awarded by National University.

 

In addition to the Health Coaching Certificate, the Division of Extended Learning also offers a plethora of online Healthcare & Fitness career training courses through our partnership with Gatlin Education Services.

 

Classes are available for a broad-range of practitioners including professionals just beginning their career in the medical industry and those who are looking to update their skills. Courses include: Medical Billing & Coding + Medical Terminology, Certified National Pharmaceutical Representative, and ICD-10 Medical Coding: Preparation and Instruction of Implementation, offering a great opportunity for health care practitioners to prepare for the upcoming transition to ICD-10.
