Alum Heads Top Ranked School in Orange County

Oxford Academy leads the Orange County Register's 2014 High School Rankings. It is headed by Principal Ben Sanchez - a National University alumnus.

The seventh-through-twelfth-grade college preparatory public school, which opened in September 1998, is part of the Anaheim Union School District. In addition to being one of four seven-time top 10 campuses listed by the Orange County Register and boasting its sixth No. 1 ranking with that newspaper, Oxford Academy is also recognized as a 2013 California Distinguished School.

Mr. Sanchez (MS, Ed. Admin., 1999) joined Oxford Academy as principal right before the start of the 2013-2014 school year.  Previously he was principal at Anaheim High School.

According to the Orange County Register, Oxford Academy "posts stratospherically high state test scores and has received repeated nods as one of the nation’s premiere public schools for preparing kids for college."
