National University Eco Fair Slated for April 16
National University, in partnership with the National University Center for Cultural and Ethnic Studies, will host its third annual Eco Fair on Saturday, April 16, 2011, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.at National’s Spectrum Business Park Academic Center in Kearny Mesa. Admission and parking are free.
The Eco Fair is part of National University's community outreach efforts to educate and demonstrate concepts about environmental and economic sustainability and stewardship. This year’s theme is "Save Green by Going Green", which promotes household solutions that are earth-friendly and ultimately wallet-friendly.
This year's Eco Fair will feature informational booths and demonstrations from more than 25 local companies, government agencies, and NGOs, plus environmentally-friendly activities for families and children.
Information about National University’s environmentally-focused degree programs, specifically the Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Policy, the Master of Science in Environmental Engineering, and the Master of Science in Sustainability Management, will be available at Eco Fair.
