Prescription Discount Card Offered to Alumni
The Alumni Relations Department is offering a new and free drug card program for alumni in the School of Education who are not covered by a current prescription drug insurance policy.
Participants only have to provide their name and email address to receive an instantly downloadable personal card which they can take to just about any local pharmacist and receive an average discount of 35 percent on almost all prescription drugs. It also works for drugs not covered by insurance, and even for some pet medications.
The drug card is free to all alumni, their family and friends, regardless of age or income. It is administered by the United Networks of America. This company has signed up 54,000 national and regional pharmacies and an estimated 30 million customers have saved $688 million in the program.
