Deadlines and critical dates for applying for student aid.
Please review and mark these important deadlines for applying for financial aid for the 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 school years at National University:

| March 2, 2010 | March 2, 2011 | Deadline for new Cal Grant A and B applications. Financial aid priority filing date for FSEOG and Federal Perkins Loans. Note: Awards will be processed after this date as long as funds remain. |
| April 2010 | April 2011 | National University begins processing student awards. Financial aid packets containing the IAFFA and other verification documents will be mailed to aid applicants. |
| June 2010 | June 2011 | Announcements of Cal Grant A and B Awards. |
| July 2010 | July 2011 | The funding period begins for Federal Pell Grant and Campus-Based programs (FSEOG, Federal Perkins). |

| June 30, 2011 | June 30, 2012 | Federal Pell Grant deadline. Last day to file the FAFSA. Note: The Federal Student Aid Center must receive the student's FAFSA by this date (June 30th). Applications postmarked June 30th and received by the processor after June 30th will not be accepted for processing. |

Completion of Student's Academic Year
Applying for an additional loan (Stafford and/or PLUS): Because students apply for and are awarded aid during different times of the year, each student's academic year will vary. Generally, students are eligible to reapply after they successfully complete all courses in the previous loan period. In addition, 32 weeks of in-class instruction (8 months) must be completed.
