All students in the Teacher Education and Special Education programs are required to do student teaching. In order to qualify for student teaching, students must:
- Have passed CBEST and subject matter competency
- Have a GPA of 3.0
- Have a zero account balance
- Have a valid, negative TB test
- Have fingerprint clearance
- Attend a student-teaching screening interview
- Attend a student-teaching orientation
- Attend the student-teaching seminar
