Course Description
This course provides learners with principles and procedures for handling multiple stakeholders and publics under crisis conditions. Students are trained to deal with the media in less-than-optimal situations, when they may be faced with indifference or even hostility. They will study the strategies and tactics of organizations that have dealt with crises, providing a rich texture of what to do – and what not to do. Knowing what to do in a crisis is a valuable skill to any employer; knowing what to do before a crisis will help students prepare an organization for unexpected events.
