Course Description
This course provides an in-depth, practical overview of the "pre-production" and "production" phases of a television project. The course covers all principal tasks, goals and pitfalls of this production phase, including creative, technical and financial pressures at all key milestones in the project. Students receive hands-on experience in managing a television project once it has been formally "greenlighted" and entered into preproduction. Topics include casting, location scouting, production board development, wardrobe and property, principal photography, post-production, and program release.
