Course Description
The ability to make appropriate decisions is learned and develops over the entire life of the leader. Beginning with the fundamentals of definitions of ethical terms, students will apply ethical frameworks to case studies and hypothetical situations. This course examines the many components that influence decision-making by leaders, including cultural relativism, legal responsibilities, prescriptive approaches and universal principles. An emphasis will be placed on considering the potential impact of decisions on the organization and transparency in the decision making process.
