Course Description
Often referred to as "Intermediate Accounting," ACC 650A and B is a comprehensive two-course sequence covering a substantial portion of the U.S. financial reporting principles known as GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles). In particular, ACC 650A provides us an in-depth review of the accounting process and preparation of the principal financial statements. This course emphasizes revenue and expense recognition, along with the accounting for cash, receivables, inventories, and plant, property and equipment.
