Overview

This highly interactive online training program will teach you everything you need to know in order to become a Professional Poker Dealer. You will learn all the fundamentals required, including: shuffling, how to handle cheques, limits, Seven Card Stud, Omaha and of course, how to deal the most popular card game today, Texas Hold 'Em.

Our Casino Poker Dealer program is aimed at teaching students the appropriate methods, techniques, and mannerisms necessary to gain employment within the Casino Industries table game's environment. Students will be responsible for viewing online streaming instructional videos as well as recording and submitting video examinations demonstrating proper game techniques and protocols. Two written examinations (a mid-term and a final) will be given throughout the program. Interactive video emails facilitate student instructor interaction, creating the opportunity for students to have their skill progression visually critiqued by a professional poker dealer instructor. Students will receive their own deck of cards and chips as well as a fold out poker felt and a web camera to attach to their computer. Upon graduation, the student will have the opportunity to record a streaming video audition to be saved and used in their job search. 100 hours
