The Department of Social Sciences in the College of Letters and Sciences at National University currently offers undergraduate degrees and programs in general studies, global studies, history, political science, sociology and interdisciplinary studies. As the department evolves, more programs relevant to the study of the social sciences will be added.
Training in the social sciences helps students achieve breadth and depth of understanding to the global workplace. Students learn to think abstractly, formulate problems, ask appropriate questions, search for objective answers, analyze situations and data, and organize material clearly.
