Course Description
Survey of the scientific techniques used in medico-legal investigations, time, cause and manner of death (homicide, suicide and accidental deaths), injury and death, firearm injuries, transportation injuries, physical injuries, trauma and disease, battered baby syndrome (child abuse) and shaken baby syndrome, sexual assault, asphyxial deaths, drowning, infanticide, medical malpractice and medical ethics. Also discusses forensic evidence and records for court.
