Course Description
The laboratory portion of Visual Arts, in which students focus on hands-on work.

This course is linked to ART 200, visual arts, and may not be taken separately. This is the laboratory portion of visual arts, in which students focus on hands-on work, putting to use knowledge and concepts learned in ART200A.

SECTION ONE:  PAINTING
Discuss the reason for painting a certain kind of painting of a picture. It could be to express an emotion, to describe an activity in which students are interested or personally involved, or just to paint because they feel like painting. Analyze methods and techniques that artists use to achieve similarities to the various schools of art.  

SECTION TWO: PHOTOGRAPHY:
This course is intended to be a compact comprehensive introduction to photography for college students.

SECTION THREE VIDEO:
This course will teach the student how to make movies with his/her video camera.  This class will show the student how to make use of everything the video camera has to offer including special video camera techniques to enable the student to make high-quality movies, in any situation.
