Student Research Conference

The Student Research Conference was initiated as a means to enhance the culture of research at National University by engaging faculty as mentors and students as researchers. The second conference will be held on Thursday April 17, 2008 from 2:15 to 5:15, during the NU Spring Symposium. It will be located on the 1^st floor of the San Diego Marriott La Jolla, in the combined Irvine & Newport rooms.

The number of participants has greatly increased from the 15 last who presented their work at the first conference last year, and all the schools are represented. The Research Council would like express its gratitude to all the students who submitted papers as well as their faculty mentors. We also thank the NU community for their support of and attendance at the Conference.

As a reminder, now is the time to encourage, support, and work with your students to prepare and their posters for the presentation at the upcoming Student Research Conference 2009.
