National University provides more master's degrees in all disciplines combined to Hispanics than any other college or university in California, according to the latest edition of Diverse Issues in Higher Education

In total, National University conferred 541 master's degrees to Hispanics in the 2004-2005 academic year. The 541 master's degrees earned by Hispanics from National University in 2004-2005 is an increase of one percent from the previous academic year, up from 536.

By specific disciplines, National University also ranks first in California and second in the nation in granting master's degrees in education to Hispanics, conferring 414 such degrees during the above-mentioned period.

In addition, National University led the nation in granting master's degrees in education to minority students – including African Americans, Asian Americans, Americans Indians and Hispanics – conferring a total of 773 such degrees in 2004-2005.

Diverse Issues in Higher Education publishes its annual rankings of the top 100 colleges and universities providing graduate degrees to minority students each July. The rankings are based upon data from the U.S. Department of Education.
